Ever wonder what is fund management? What is all this talk about Asia being the next economic powerhouse and what is the inter-relations between the economy, population, business culture and the way investments are flowing around the world? Why is world development in the pattern we see today? What is development? What is the role of the state in the economy? When does the environment get factored into economic discourses? Join this module to find out more about these. Probably a module that will sharpen the way you view political and economic events around the world in a more critical fashion. Helps you to analyse where to put your money in future too if you are an attentive student. Open to year 5 Geography majors and students interested in taking it as an elective.
This module takes students on a PBL approach towards climatic studies as well as examine the science of climatic studies in terms of phenomenon. The basic readings will definitely be covered but students are encouraged to come along for a good critical thinking course that is embedded in this module.
